  • I love the fact that the Holy Spirit is still welcome in our classes. In this age of partiality and not wanting to seem “too spiritual” it is refreshing to teach in a college where old time religion is still practiced and where the leadership still believes in the need to wait on God, have compulsory chapel and focus on Biblical teaching.
  • In EAST there is clear integration of faith and education. From the syllabus, the emphasis on Christian service and the choice of staff (practicing Born again individuals) the student is exposed daily to the practicality of faith and the Word.

EAST continuously strives to unite academic excellence, pragmatic ministry, with a powerful spiritual dynamic. Jesus commanded us to love the Lord “with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37). Pursuing greater academic qualification in obedience to our Lord is an act of worship. EAST faculty members incessantly pursue greater academic achievement in obedience to Jesus. In 2011, seven faculty members are pursuing and nearing completion of their PhDs. In September 2011, four more are set to begin the journey.
